Class X Farewell

On 19th March 2024,Tuesday, Students of Class VIII and IX  organized a grand Farewell Party for class X Batch 2024 ,under the  guidance of Principal Dr. Neeru Talwar .Class IX students welcomed class X students .The cultural programme showcased the multiple talents of class VIII to X. students  enthusiastically participated in various cultural activities like dance and drama , fashion show , experience sharing etc. Principal and Coordinator selected Mr. and Ms. Bal Bharati along with students  pole.Vikas Kuthari  was selected as Mr. Bal Bharati and Wara Ahmad was crowned as Ms. Bal Bharati .Through Blessing ceremony principal motivated them for future goal and success . All students and staff relished the farewell buffet as the day came to an emotional close.

ISKCON TEMPLE VISIT

The primary department children got the opportunity to visit ISKCON Temple as part of their cultural immersion experience on 16th March 2024. The visit aimed to expose students to different religious practices and traditions, fostering a sense of respect and appreciation for diversity.

The students were warmly welcomed by the temple staff and given a brief introduction to the history and significance of ISKCON Temple.

The students participated in a meditation session and Chanting Hare Krishna Hare Krishna led by a temple monk, learning about mindfulness and inner peace.

The children expressed fascination and curiosity about the unfamiliar rituals and practices observed at ISKCON Temple.

Many students found the meditation session to be a calming and enlightening experience, resonating with the importance of mindfulness and self-reflection.

The visit sparked discussions among the students about their individual experiences.

  • Insights into the religious practices, art, and architecture of the temple, enhancing their understanding of the local culture.
  • About the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the region.

HOLI: THE FESTIVAL OF COLOURS

Class- I

On the occasion of Holi, a special assembly was organized on 14th March 2024 by the students of the primary classes.  The assembly commenced with arousing hymns of Gayatri Mantra & prayer song followed by a group song about Lord Krishna. Through a skit on the story of Holika Dahan the students highlighted the significance of the festival with message of victory of good over evil. The students enjoyed the assembly.

Literature is a carrier of the contemporary strains of society and changes in perspectives. Literature is always seen as the mightiest way of reformation and renaissance. It brings together the entire world working together in building a new nation where equality and right to speech are not jeopardized. MODULE 4

ACTIVITY REPORT

 

In the second week of January, the students of classes VI to VIII enjoyed performing the two activities conducted for the module 4, of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam. In the first activity the students posted their diary entries in the PADLET upon hearing the song ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.’

In the second activity the students were shared the power point presentation of the environmentalists like Greta Thunberg / Sunderlal Bahuguna /Medha Patekar/ Sunita Narain along with other well-known climate warriors highlighting their contributions. The students wrote on a coloured A4 size paper the biography of some famous people across the world who have made a mark in the battle to save the planet from climate disasters.

The students benefited from the integrated learning of English, Social Studies and Performing Arts. The students enhanced their creative writing skills by implementing their previous learning of writing of diary entry and biography through the activities.

Students were divided into teams and team leaders took the lead to answer the questions asked.

The major objective was to improve the mental abilities and logical reasoning of the students through the activity.

As the rounds advanced the difficulty level also increased. Though some of the questions were tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence.

Students answered the questions with enthusiasm and zeal.

legacy of writers and writings. These writers have handwritten a lot about
society and explored many thematic concerns.
The students were motivated to follow the trail set forth to connect and
understand how these profound minds, based in different geographical terrains,
thought on the same lines.

Thereafter discussed and presented their opinions about the fiction read.

It is time to dispel the darkness of ignorance within and
replace it with the light of hope and knowledge .The
festivals of lights came alive when the primary students
of the BBPS Khargone conducted a special assembly on
Diwali with zeal on 10th November 2023. The
programme commenced with a brief description of the
festivals by the students .The children presented a
delightful skit to spread awareness about the harmful
effects of firework and motivate their listeners to ensure
a safe and eco- friendly Diwali.

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) organized the ‘Wild Wisdom Global Challenge 2023’, world's largest quiz competition.It was based on biodiversity. The state level round was held in Bhopal at Govt. Gyanodaya Residential School for the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.This year the theme of the quiz competition was 'Birds around the world'. Different rounds of this quiz were first held at the school level-Classroom challenge(offline) and online school round. Through online round 48 schools qualified for the state level round out of 127 schools. During the state level round, all teams appeared for the paper-pen test followed by a live quiz.

  • About nature, biodiversity, and key conservation issues.
  • About different types of birds, their habitat and how to preserve our wildlife.

It is important to study Shakespeare in order to understand the modern world, indeed to understand people. The senior students engaged themselves in research about Shakespeare and his work. They received sonnet, speeches and famous quotes of William Shakespeare.

SINK AND FLOAT ACTIVITY

This science activity allows the children  to explore the concept of sink or float. This activity helps them to enhance  their language.

It also  enhances the coordination  and control of hand -eye movement. Children observed that few objects sink in the water and while some  objects float.

The 77th Independence Day program was  held on 14th August 2023

This Independence Day was marked with "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav". The students presented a special assembly in the school with great zeal.

The venue was beautifully decorated with handmade tricolour craft material. Everybody in the Assembly felt very proud on paying their tributes to the tricolour.

A dance based on theme of Independence Day was presented by Pre Primary students. Pre School students  presented patriotic poem.

A  quiz  was conducted on the achievements of India.

Principal gave a patriotic speech and congratulated everyone on the 77th program.

The assembly concluded with the national anthem.

India is indubitably the land of brave warriors, we fight to claim what is ours. Our Indian army is brimful of hardihood and in the year 1999, the world witnessed it when we conquered Kargil War against Pakistan.   With heartfelt appreciation, a special assembly began to commemorate and celebrate the sincere and unmatchable efforts of the Indian Army in the form of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The assembly comprised of an anecdote stating the significance of the crucial day, this small yet powerful speech charged up the entire audience with a feeling of pride and nationalism. The celebrations had the much-awaited performances of our students. The main highlights were the speech, slogans, song and dance drama performance. Each performance acknowledged the efforts and gallantry of our Armed Forces. Echoes of energetic 'Jai Hind!' that filled the assembly area in the morning, could be felt throughout the day.

Assembly on Diet and Body

Theme :- Diet and our Body

An assembly was conducted to understand the significance of balance diet in one’s body. The students learnt about the importance of balance diet through many events like Skit, Speech, Poem & Role Play. The assembly started with Gayatri mantra and prayer song followed by the introduction. After the skit a beautiful dance performance was presented by the students. The assembly came to an end with the thought for the day and teacher’s talk. All the students enjoyed the assembly and learnt the benefits of eating a healthy.

ASSEMBLY REPORT

 

First aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person with either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery.

First aid assembly were held on Monday, 3rd July 2023. In this assembly students did various activities. Assembly started with a skit including basics of first aid. Students performed nukkad natak on first aid measures taken to save life. It was followed by a poem. The thought of the day presented by the students. A teachers talk was conducted at the end

International Yoga Day

DAY & DATE: 21st June 2023, Wednesday

 

9th International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students and the teachers of BBPS Khargone on 21st June 2023 with great enthusiasm. International Yoga Day is celebrated among the children to make them understand the importance of Yoga in their life. It helps the students to understand how to maintain harmony between body and mind. Teachers Mr. Narayan Bhardwaj and Mohd Hashim organised the session to explain the importance of Yoga.

Principal Dr Neeru Talwar explained the importance of meditation. She informed the students they should read ancient Indian texts like Patanjali Maharishi's 'AshtangYog' along with personality development books by international writers. She encouraged the students to practice Yoga and meditation on a regular basis for a healthy body and mind.

Learning Outcome: -

  1. To enable the student to have good health.
    2. To raise awareness about the various benefits of practicing yoga.

3. To possess emotional stability.

To emphasize reading as a key skill for foundational learning and honouring the
father of the Library Movement, the late P.N. Panicker , Reading day and
Reading week is celebrated every year in our school. To celebrate the 28th
National Reading Week ‘DEAR Time’ activity was organized for the students
of classes I-V through online mode.
Drop Everything And Read time, is better known as DEAR time, is a time
regularly set aside in the classroom schedule for the students and teacher for
reading.
For this reading activity students enjoyed reading their favourite stories like
grandma’s stories, Tenalirama stories,bedtime stories fairy tales etc. with their
teachers through online mode ,Even though the school was closed for the
primary students, they got the opportunity to participate in this activity through
online mode. All students enjoyed reading the stories with their teachers and
shared their opinion about the stories read.

organized for the students of classes VI-VIII in our school.
In this activity students read their favourite books and talked about it for one
minute. First they introduced themselves, showed the book , then said about the
author and shared their reading experience about the book (like-plot, storyline,
characters, climax, recommendations, your rating, etc).
Students enjoyed reading their favourite stories like Folk tales, Amar chitra
katha, Sudha Murthy, wimpy kid etc. .

classes IX-X.
In this activity students read the books of their favourite authors and then shared
the works of the author in the school library. Students also shared that why the
particular author is their favourite one.
Students enjoyed reading the story books and novels of their favourite author
like R.K Narayan, Ruskin Bond, John Grisham, Amish Tripathi etc.

A assembly on our environment was organized in our school at BBPS Khargone on 13 April 2023. students performed a number of programmes like dance, skit ,song, speech .The song  Hum yahi  jiyenge was performed by the primary class .The skit enacted by the students showcased the need to conserve our resource and to build a green world.
