POCSO COMMITTEE 

(Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act, 2012 The school has constituted a POCSO Committee, under the protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act, 2012, to deal with any incident of child abuse inside the school.

INTRODUCTION:

BAL BHARATI PUBLIC SCHOOL, NTPC Khargone is running under the aegis of Child Education Society. It is a co-education institute from Pre School to Class 10.

The Parliament of India passed the “Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act,” in the year 2013.

Educational institutions are also bound by the Supreme Court’s directive and the Act. Therefore, a Sexual Harassment Committee to be constituted for female employees/girls(students) in the school.

The present members of the complaints committee to deal with the complaints of sexual harassment in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the supreme court of India and the Act mentioned at Para 1 above relating to sexual harassment of women workers at work places and girls (Students).
